FiberPoE Gen 2 is a low cost solution for outdoor installations that require long distance cable routing to reach the PoE device. Implementations with FiberPoE Gen 2 offer a significant level of protection from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) thanks to the use of optical fiber for data transport.
