The Ubiquiti GBE-LR product from the GigaBEAM AirMax line, is a high-efficiency equipment for long-range Wireless links in the 60GHz unlicensed band with automatic failover on the 5GHz band capable of ensuring continuity of service even in adverse weather conditions.

The Unit is capable of high-capacity Point-to-Point links with Throughput up to 1Gbps with low latency and low jitter without the interference and instability typical of the 5GHz band.

These features are ideal for ISP/WISP operators in that they meet the needs required by their backbone or distribution infrastructures but, given the low cost and ease of installation, are also particularly attractive for simple Bulding-to-Building wireless connections for private use.

For the 60 GHz link, GigaBeam LR supports full use of the 802.11ad standard with 2.16 GHz bandwidth while the 5GHz backup supports the 802.11ac standard with 20/40/80MHz channel and data rate up to 867Mbps .

Ubiquiti GBE-LR airMAX GigaBeam Long-Range 60GHz/5GHz is equipped with a powerful quad-core processor, 256MB RAM, a Gigabit Ethernet PoE port that allows 24V power supply via Ethernet data cable. The device also has a 2.4GHz radio for configuration via wifi.
