IgniteNet MetroLinq 60 LW changes the economics of low-cost 60GHz PTP and PTMP connections. With a 60GHz range of up to 150m (0.1mi) as well as built-in 5GHz failover, it can provide reliable high throughput in the harshest conditions. It also has the advantage of being license-free in most markets, allowing ultra-fast deployment and without the hassle of other frequency bands. The MetroLinq 60 LW also includes a third 2.4 GHz radio which can be configured a multi-tenant AP for applications ranging from hotspots to maintenance and many more.
The LW is available in 2 different variants - one in which the 5GHz radio is connected to a directional antenna for backup purposes and another where it is connected to a omni for access purposes.

120 degrees beamforming antenna
The new beamforming sector antenna has a 120 degree area coverage, but during the communication with each client device 16 narrow beam steps of 10 degrees are used, which improves noise immunity and assures security of your links.

The benefits of tri-band
MetroLinq 60 LW has three integrated radios making it an ideal device for building network backhaul and access using the same unit. 60GHz serves as the backhaul while the 5GHz radio can work as a failover or client access radio and 2.4GHz is dedicated for client access as well.

The advanced operating system has a professional feature-set required to do point-to-point communication, which includes 128 bit AES encryption for security, Jumbo frame support, 5 GHz failover radio and many more. Each link can be configured individually and also using our cloud based controller.
