Product Overview
WIS-L5820S is a 300Mbps 2*2 MIMO Hi-Power outdoor wireless base station based on 802.11a/n technology. It is industry die-cast IP67 design with high performance, cost-effective and dedicated to long distance wireless network solutions. Featuring the revolutionary WiD TDMA technology and 20dBi 90deg dual-polarized sector antenna, WIS-L5820S helps to get more clients accessed than legacy WiFi technology and greatly improve the network scalability in throughput and latency. WIS-L5820S is best applied to rural wireless Internet, wireless hotspot and other industrial wireless solutions. 
2*2 MIMO with WiD TDMA Technology
The WiD TDMA technology is a huge benefit and allows the scaling of many more clients than legacy 802.11 CSMA. This allows the access point to get up to 100 wireless users while still maintain reliable connections, even in noisy RF environment. In another hand, the 2*2 MIMO technology would help provide maximum 210Mbps+ throughput, thus ensuring enough network bandwidth to every wireless clients.
Highly Integrated Design
Now it's time to choose the more reliable and cost-effective solution to the WISPs all over the world. If the PtMP networks is required, you can choose the WIS-L series sector base station with different antenna gain and frequency, without considering how to combine the radio and the antenna. And we even made the 8kV lightning protection available on every L-series devices with discharge tubes, to make your radios and networks highly reliable and robust in outdoor environment.
Extended Coverage
In order to keep stable and robust wireless connection, the WIS-L5820S is integrated special power amplifier which can output 27dBm power both at high and low speed rate. Featuring high gain 20dBi 90 deg dual-polarized sector antenna, WIS-L5820S extends the wireless coverage to more than 25km while using Wisnetworks bridge such as WIS-D5250.
Robust industrial design
With the tough industrial IP67 waterproof die-cast aluminum design, the WIS-L5820S can work in various outdoor conditions, in sunshine or rainfall, wind and snow. Besides that with the robust lightning protection hardware integrated and grounding terminal outside the enclosure, you would no longer worry about the lightning and ESD damage to the device. The lightning protection level is up to 8kV while ESD protection up to 16kV.
Flexible Passive PoE
The WIS-L5820S is able to be supplied power by a power injector using passive PoE technology which is more cost-effective and make it more flexible to deploy the device in outdoor environment. The PoE length is up to 200 feet. There is also another powering method using our 24VDC PoE switch, which is more space saving for each base station site. The switch can support maximum for 4 base station with 90deg to provide 360deg coverage.
Easy mounting and tilt adjustment
WIS-L5820S provides pole mounting method with mounting kits in package. With our professional mounting kits and installation guide you can easily mount it in different outdoor conditions, and tilt angle adjustment would also be a easy job for beginners.
